(1910.146 (c) (5)), or reclassification to non-permit required confined
space (1910.146 (c) (7)). The Contractor is required to perform a site
evaluation to identify all hazards and potential hazards in work areas
whether included in Table 1 or not, prior to control of site.

The Contractor shall be solely responsible for initiating, maintaining and
supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the work,
as outlined herein and in the General and Special Conditions of the Contract
Documents. Within (10) days after the effective date of the Agreement
between Owner and Contractor, submit to the Engineer a Safety and Health
Plan as specified herein.
