RE; RFP1058-022318 - Single Stream Recyclable Material Processing

Proposal Summary

Dear Ms. Greenberg;

Casella Recycling, LLC (‘Casella’) is pleased to provide the City of Nashua, NH with
this proposal summary.

Casella Recycling, LLC, owns and operates two of the largest Single Stream Material
facilities in the State of Massachusetts. We also own other processing facilities in Maine
as well as New York. We are more than qualified & capable of handling the City of
Nashua tons, evidence of which, would be in our history of service to the City the last six
years,

Our scope of services has not changed and we still provide the same level of accepted
and unacceptable materials. (please see attached list). The transportation of the
recyclables will be performed by Casella Recycling, LLC at the cost indicated on the bid
sheet. Our equipment is state of the art processing equipment that is capable of handling
our permitted amount of tons. Our daily capacity is approximately 900 tons per day, our
equipment brand is largely CP Manufacturing with a Harris baler and a Bollegraf baler.
Casella bas operated this single stream plant for about 10 years, running two shifts a day
and at this time has no plans for any shutdowns that would effect the city tons.

Casella will continue to market the city recyclables in the most efficient possible way.
We will continue to seek the best possible outlets and pricing the market will allow.

We look forward to continuing our work with the City and want to thank you for this
opportunity to submit our proposal.

Vite President
