Wing Plow Hitch Mount

A. The wing control cylinder shall be a 3” diameter bore x 24”
stroke double acting with 2” diameter nitrided piston rod. This
cylinder is mounted to operate in conjunction with the wing
arms forming a two-point pivot through which the wing is
operated,

8. The push arm bracket shall be fabricated from a base tube
of HSS 6” x 6” ¥ 4" x 3/8” vertical height. The wing arms attach
| ta 4” thick double arm mounting ears carrying 1-%” diameter
grade 8 plated bolts with nylok nuts.

E. Bumper:

The burnper is designed to ailow sufficient room for pump
mounting, The bumper plate shail be full width of the chassis
frame and full depth of cheek plate assembly.

F. 1 set of heated LED plow lights with integral turn/park lights
shall be standard.

Nose Plow Hitch Frame

A. The frant plow hitch mast shail be of a fixed design.

8. Hitch Specifications:

Wing Plows For 6 Wheel Trucks

. A. Wing plow shall be a right hand 11’ long trip edge plow with
%” moldboard, curb guards and non-trip arms.

B. It shall include 2 mounting locations for a i-1/2” pivot
(slider) bolt.

C. The pivot holes shall be reinforced %” plate washer welded
to the skin plate,

D. The moldbeard shail be fabricated with a 1” thick plate

nasepiece,

E. The arm-attaching bracket shall be bolted in place and
adjustable in position.

F. Wing blades shall be punched on 12” center.

Nose Plows for 6 Wheel Truck

A. Asteel 11’ power angle trip edge plow with 4” mold
board, no tess than 40” high, punched to AASHO standards
12” on center with caster wheels shall be standard.

B. Plow shall be complete with a carbide cutting edge and
cover plate

_C. Trip edges shall be punched to accept a 132” standard hi-
way punch cutting edge

DB. The moldboard shail have 2 curb shoes (one each end of
| cutting edge), each curb shoe shall not be less. than 1-3/8”
thick,

E. 2 Caster wheels per plow shall be supplied.

|. Bodies shall be equipped with a safety braces.

J. A10’ Stainless steel 8 cubic yard hydraulic V-box
spreader equipped with support legs shal! be standard.

“Swenson EV200 or similar. Equipped with a pre-wet system,

K. V box spreaders shall have a top mounted spinner motor.

L. Bodies shall be equipped with a Gi 500d coverall with in-
cab control.

intent: it is the intent of these specifications to upfit two 6 wheel chassis for use as a dump truck equipped
with a nose and wing plow, stainless steel spreader equipped with a pre-wet system and all necessary hitches,
vaives, hydraulic cylinders and controls. The following are the minimum acceptable specifications. Any
exceptions must be clearly noted in the column titled "Manufacturers specs”.
