O1010A-3
SUMMARY OF WORK

5. | The Contractor shall limit his personnel to the proposed work areas and limits
of work.

B. — Construction access.

1. Free open space around the Control Building is limited. As directed by the
Owner, the Contractor may use the temporary parking lot, for construction
trailers, employee parking, material storage and lay down. The Contractor
shall install fencing around the staging area.

2. Open traffic lanes must be maintained around the Control Building at all
times. Paved traffic areas may be temporarily reduced in width with the
Owners permission, but must still be passable for truck traffic and be well
marked.

3. The Contractor shall repair to preconstruction condition all damaged grassed
areas and pavement areas after demobilization.

CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE

A. Construction of the proposed HVAC facilities will disrupt the facilities thermal
comfort and indoor air quality in occupied spaces. To maintain acceptable thermal
comfort and indoor air quality in occupied spaces and to minimize disruption, the
construction must be divided into phases or sequenced appropriately. The
construction sequence phases and dates must allow the facility to maintain HVAC
or acceptable atmospheric conditions. |The Contractor may deviate from this
construction sequencing as outlined in paragraph 3.2.C.

B. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for review and acceptance a complete
schedule of his proposed sequence of construction operations prior to commencing
any work. This schedule shall include the Contractor's plans for doing the work.

C. The Contractor must submit to the Engineer a written request to deviate from the
above sequence, provided he can demonstrate to the Engineer that the continuity
and degree of treatment will not be adversely affected.

D. The Contractor shall include the cost of all temporary facilities required to maintain
acceptable thermal comfort and indoor air quality in occupied spaces during the
construction period in his lump-sum bid price. The cost shall include the cost for
all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary.

E. _ It shall be recognized that certain interruptions of, and disruptions to, the facilities
thermal comfort and indoor air quality in occupied spaces will be required to
complete the work of this Contract. Scheduled interruptions requiring interruption
shall be kept to a minimum frequency and duration. Such interruptions shall be
coordinated by the Contractor and the Owner using the Contractor’s proposed work
schedule, but shall not affect the facilities ability to maintain acceptable thermal
comfort and indoor air quality in occupied spaces as described above.

F. The Contractor shall notify the Owner a minimum of fourteen (14) days in advance
of any work which may affect or disrupt the thermal comfort and indoor air quality
in occupied spaces. Once the interruption occurs the Contractor must maintain a
workforce on-site to complete the work in the agreed upon time.

G. Any work by the Contractor which requires the mechanical or electrical isolation of
an existing piece of equipment, process or system shall be coordinated with the
Engineer. Any and all isolation of electrical or mechanical equipment or process

Alderman Thibeault

One follow up. | just want to say thank you. | know | put Director Cummings on the spot there, but thank you for
answering that.

Tim Cummings, Economic Development Director

No problem.

Mayor Donchess

Any more remarks by Aldermen?

Alderman Moran

Thank you very much Mr. Mayor for having the tribute to Ukraine on Tuesday. | was unable to attend but from what | saw,
it was a wonderful event. | had many people reach out and thank you for leading that.

Mayor Donchess

Well it was very well attended and a group of Aldermen came. There were many people from Ukraine who spoke and
addressed people. They played the Ukrainian Anthem which is quite a moving piece of music actually. So overall |
thought it was very supportive of Ukraine, and its independence, and its bravery. | agree. It was a great event. Hopefully
they can sustain and prevail. Yes, Alderman Dowd.

Alderman Dowd
| believe it should be on my website if | did it right. I’m not great on Facebook but | recorded the raising of the flag and the
Ukrainian National Anthem as it was being raised and hopefully put it on my Facebook account. | think it’s there but if not,

| can send it to anyone that wants it.

Mayor Donchess

The VFW sent a delegation of people and | thought it was great to have American Veterans who clearly support and
understand what the Ukrainians are fighting for.
