attached Contractor’s Revised Project Schedule reflects increases or decreases in Contract Time as

authorized by this Change Order,

Stipulated price and time adjustment includes all costs and time associated with the above described change.
Contractor waives all rights for additional time extension for said change. Contractor and Owner agree that

the price(s) and time adjustment(s) stated above are equitable and acceptable to both parties.

Below is a summary of each change order. Attached after this memo is the backups

Item No. 1 - Newton Drive Electrical Extension - $27,335.18

This item is for necessary electrical modifications done at the Newton Drive Pump Station. This
station required three-phase power. The Drawings showed the station being powered from a
single-phase connection, which is not feasible. Eversource installed a new telephone pole with
three-phase power on the other side of the Riverview Gardens development. The change order
reflects the additional work required for Defelice to connect to this new power source. The
additional work includes the cost for additional excavation, materials, and labor. A cost backup
is provided in Attachment A. Below is a summary of the cost of work broken down by day. The
figure below shows the installed conduit route (red) versus the non-feasible route from the
contract drawings (yellow).

Item No. 2 Balancing Change Order Item — ($100.00)
Bid Item No. 9 — Misc. Concrete, was given a unit price on Defelice’s bid of $1.00/cubic yard for
an estimated 100 cubic yards. This will result in a reduction of the contract price by $100.00.

Time Extension — 36 days

A time extension was granted to Defelice of 36 days for Final Completion. The work to be
completed includes the replacement of the frames and covers at Gillis Street and the completion
of the Punchlist items. The new date for Final Completion is 5/21/2021.
