coordinate their work with the instrumentation supplier by providing operating
sequences, input/out specifications with wiring diagrams for all equipment, and that
they shall review and comment on each others shop drawings to insure that all
interfaces are compatible.

A. Contractor shall have use of the premises within the limits shown on the Drawings
and as defined in the General Conditions for the performance of the Work and

COORDINATION
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 DESCRIPTION
A.
Contractor is required to work in close proximity to Owner's existing facilities. The
Contractor, under this Contract, will be responsible for coordinating construction
activities with Owner to ensure that services, facilities, and safe working conditions
are maintained.

Provide protection for existing equipment, utilities and critical areas against water
or other damage caused by drilling operation.
Slurry or tailings resulting from coring operations shall be vacuumed or otherwise
removed from the area following drilling. Slurry or tailings shall not be allowed to
enter floor drains.
Work area (e.g., adjacent walls, floors, ceilings, pipes, conduits, etc.) shall be
cleaned to remove splash residues from coring operation.

1.1 DESCRIPTION
A. Work Included - This section establishes general requirements pertaining to cutting,
excavating, coring, fitting, and patching of the Work required to:
1. Make alterations to existing structures.
2. Make the parts fit properly.
3. Replace work not conforming to requirements of the Contract Documents.

shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards and
the stricter of the Contractor's or Owner’s lock-out/tag-out procedures.
The Contractor shall have all materials and equipment on-site, and shall receive the
Owner's approval, prior to initiating work which will disrupt the facilities thermal
comfort and indoor air quality in occupied spaces.

5. | The Contractor shall limit his personnel to the proposed work areas and limits
of work.
B. — Construction access.
1. Free open space around the Control Building is limited. As directed by the
Owner, the Contractor may use the temporary parking lot, for construction
trailers, employee parking, material storage and lay down. The Contractor
shall install fencing around the staging area.
