Subject: City Hall Font Door Renovations

On July 24, 2019 Administrative Services updated the Committee on Infrastructure and
made a presentation on the renovation to the City Hall Front Door, please see the
attached.

The original bid and contract with Northpoint Construction Management was $24,869.

Recently, we have learned an electric latch retraction needs to be added to the 2"4
door so that when our security system sends a signal to unlock, both doors will be
operable from interior and exterior without operating a lever or crash bar. Please note
that the low voltage control wiring between our new door hardware and the building
security/access control system shall be by others. The total added cost for hardware
modifications will be $2,300.

Therefore the total cost of the project will be $27,169.00 and we ask for the Finance
committee’s approval on the original contract and the change order.
