2004 — 2017: Founder, Breast Cancer Education Initiative for Low-Income &
Minority Women at Nashua GED Center
Established non-profit to educate low-income & minority women on importance of early
detection & healthy lifestyle
Collaborated with Adult Learning Center 501(c)3 to shelter & manage funds
Created eight major fundraisers totaling $25K to buy educational materials in multiple
languages from Komen for the Cure, grocery store gift cards for incentive, mammograms for
those not qualified for BCCC guidelines, etc.
Teaches awareness class each semester with over 500 women impacted

Catholic Medical Center and Dartmouth-Hitchcock to contribute mammograms for ESL
