On the 2018, we keep it roughly two and a half years and the 2019, we'll be doing the same thing but it's when
we actually purchased it is where it came out to the mileage. We try to shoot for 100,000 miles before we
trade them in because we see a lot of issues and the vehicles are out of warranty at that point. Both those the
2018 and the 2019 should be definitely over 100,000 by the time we actually take possession of the new
vehicles, and including the two Crown Victorias too.

Please see attached communications from Karen Smith, Buisiness Office Manager, dated September 1,
2021 for project specific details related to this purchase. Below please find a summary of the purchase
approval request:

Item: Two Unmarked 2022 Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD Vehicles
Value: $83,503.90

Source Fund: 81500 Vehciles/FY22 CERF

Ordinance: Pursuant to § 5-84 Special purchase procedures A/(3) Purchases which can be
procured through cooperative intergovernmental purchase agreements with
other governmental jurisdictions.

There will be no trade-ins on these vehicles as one is transferring to the Administrative Services Division
for redeployment to other city employees and the other will be sold on the online Public Surplus Auction
site by the Purchasing Department.

The Nashua Police Department, and the Purchasing Department respectfully request your approval of this
