The low bid was reviewed and found to be acceptable. DeFelice Corporation has
performed satisfactorily on other sewer projects of this scale in the City including the
2015 Sewer Rehabilitation Project, Burke Street Sewer Improvements, Harbor Avenue
Sewer Separation and Pine and Palm Street Sewer Improvements.

Work is expected to start as early as June to address significant pipe issues. With the
amount of pipe work and utility work in busy locations, this project is expected to go
through two construction seasons.
