NRO § 5-90 (E) states that approval by the Finance Committee of a contract award in excess of
$1,000,000 shall be submitted to the full Board of Aldermen at its next regularly scheduled meeting for
final approval prior to award of the contract. .

The Finance Committee approved and placed. on file the notification of the award of the
referenced contract at their March 6, 2019 meeting. || am requesting the approval of the full
Board of Aldermen for the award of the following contract, which is over $1, 000,000.

recommend the award of this contract in an amount of $4,350,642 to Sunshine Paving of Hudson, NH.

Note 14 — Subsequent Events

The Company has evaluated the events and transactions that have occurred through March
18, 2016, the date that these consolidated financial statements were available for issuance.

On March 17, 2016, the Company sold its holdings in one investment included in
“Investments — Bond Project Funds” on the Consolidated Balance Sheet as of December 31,
2015. This investment was classified as a “held to maturity” investment on that balance
sheet, but was sold prior to its maturity date in November of 2016. The value of this
investment at the time of sale was approximately $6,990,000. All of the proceeds from this
transaction were transferred into “Restricted Cash — Bond Project Funds,” which are now
available for usage to reimburse project funds during 2016, as further disclosed in Note 1 to
these consolidated financial statements. The investment was sold prior to its original maturity
date due to modifications in the drawdown schedule of funding for the underlying project
identified to these funds, as well as compliance with the manner in which these funds must
be drawdown throughout the construction period for the project, per the Loan and Trust
Agreement under which these funds were originally procured.

Pursuant to the Nashua Revised Ordinance, Chapter 19, Section 19-34, the undersigned requests that the
following described portion of:

to be accepted for public use and maintenance:

A certain parcel of land situated in the City of Nashua, County of Hillsborough, State of New Hampshire,
bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a stone bound in the east line of Birchwood Drive at the southwest corner of the within
described parcel; thence

N12°56’04”W by said east sideline of Birchwood Drive a distance of 70.06 feet to a stone bound; thence

Southeasterly along a curve to the left having a radius of 15.00 feet, a delta angle of 92°21’16” and an
arc length of 24.18 feet to a stone bound; thence

N74°42’40”E a distance of 424.18 feet to a point on the existing westerly terminus of Adelaide Avenue
as accepted on July 10, 1979; thence

$15°17'20”E by said westerly terminus of the previously accepted Adelaide Avenue a distance of 40.00
feet to a point; thence

$74°42’40”"W a distance of 427.06 feet to a stone bound; thence

southwesterly along a curve to the left having a radius of 15.00 feet, a delta angle of 87°38’44” and an
arc length of 22.95 feet to the point of beginning.
