14 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. All lumber except as otherwise specified herein shall:

1. Benew, dressed 4 sides (S4S), clean, and free from warping and other defects.

2. Conform to U. S. Department of Commerce Simplified Practice
Recommendations R-16 for sizes and use Classifications.

3. Have a moisture content not exceeding 19 percent when delivered to the
project.

4. National Forest Products Association - "National Design Specification for
Wood Construction - 2005 including Design Values for Wood Construction".

1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
A. Store all materials in an elevated dry location, protected by waterproof coverings.
Do not store within the building until masonry, concrete, and other such wet work

has been completed and allowed to dry.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.1 ROUGH HARDWARE
A. Expansion anchor and anchor bolts shall be as shown on the Drawings and as
follow indicated below:
1. Nailers and blocking in excess of 7/8 inch thick - 3/4-inch diameter
galvanized steel anchor bolts or expansion bolts, as applicable.
2. Secure other non-specified lumber with galvanized steel fasteners, of a type
most suitable for the application.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

A. Provide firestopping systems that meet or exceed the fire rating of the construction
assembly being penetrated, when tested in accordance with ASTM E814 and UL
1479.

B. Submit manufacturer's specification and installation instructions.

C. Submit design data indicating methods of closure.

D. Submit test reports indicating that the system meets the specified performance

requirements.

2.2 MATERIALS

A.

The materials specified herein are the generic components of typical firestopping
systems. The components shall be as required by the manufacturer to provide a
complete firestopping system complying with the performance requirements
specified.

Insulation Packing Material: A combination of mineral fiber manufactured from
glass and thermosetting resins, with a minimum density of 6 PCF, complying with
ASTM C665, Type 1.

Sealing Compound: A setting type sealing compound for use with gypsum
wallboard assemblies. Material must be as required by the manufacturer of the
gypsum wallboard system utilized and have passed testing in accordance with ASTM
E814.

Intumescent-type Wrap: Flexible rubber like material capable of expanding up to ten
times in volumes when subjected to heat.

Mortar: A cementious fire resistant material.

Steel Collar: As required by the manufacturer to provide the complete firestopping
system.

Sealant: Elastomeric caulking resistant to temperatures up to 2000°F, as required by
the manufacturer of the firestopping system.

PART 3 - EXECUTION

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

A. The completed installation shall be inspected and approved by a representative from
the roofing manufacturer. All deficiencies noted in this inspection shall be corrected
at no additional cost to the Owner.

SUBMITTALS

A. Submit information requested under provisions of Section 01340.

B. Submit a letter from the manufacturer Johns Manville verifying that the
manufacturer approves the roofing subcontractor to do the work.

C. After completion of the work, submit documentation from Johns Manville stating the
existing warranty (15 year NDL Peak Advantage Warranty BNE107300188) issued
in 2015) is still valid and shall now also include the work performed under this
contract.

QUALIFICATIONS
A. Work on existing roofs shall be done by a Contractor who 1s certified by the

manufacturer of the existing roof system, Johns Manville.

DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A. Manufactured roofing materials shall be delivered in manufacturer's original
unopened containers or wrapping with labels intact and legible.

B. Store and protect materials from damage and weather in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions. Keep materials clean and dry. Store material on raised
platforms and cover top, sides and bottom

C. Adhere to the special precautions of the manufacturer or as required by the general
conditions, whichever is most stringent.

SINGLE-PLY EPDM ROOFING

1.7 ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
A. Proceed with roofing work when existing and forecasted weather conditions permit
work to be performed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and
warranty requirements.

1.8 WARRANTY
A. The roof is currently warrantied by Johns Manville for 15 years, starting in 2015. All
work shall comply with the manufacturer’s requirements to maintain the existing
warranty and to have this work included in the warranty.
B. Installers guarantee period shall be for two (2) years after date of acceptance.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.1 MATERIALS
A. All materials required by the manufacturer for a complete installation.

2.2 PRECAST CONCRETE WALKWAY PADS
A. Pavers shall be a nominal 24-inch by 24-inch by 2-inch thick precast concrete.

PART 3 - EXECUTION

3.1 ROOF WALKWAYS
A. Concrete Pavers:
1. Install separator mat over entire area of the paver field, extending 2-inches
beyond the pavers. Overlap mat one-foot minimum at side and end laps.

3.2 WORK ON THE EXISTING ROOF

A. Remove existing roofing, flashing, blocking and nailers where indicated on the
drawings.

B. All work on the existing roof shall be as detailed and in accordance with the roofing
manufacturers printed standards.

C. All work shall be made watertight at the end of each workday.

D. Protect the existing roof from damage and maintain the water-tightness of the
building.

3.3 MANUFACTURER'S FIELD SERVICES
A. Upon completion of work on the existing roof, a manufacturer's representative will
make a thorough inspection of the work to determine that it complies with the
manufacturer's standards and specifications.

3.4 CLEANING
A. Remove debris, scraps, containers, rubbish, and other trash resulting from
installation of the roofing system from job site each day.

This Service Agreement (the “Agreement” ) made, 3/9/2022 (the “Effective Date”) by and between
PoliceApp.com, a Connecticut corporation having a principal place of business in the City of
Wallingford, Connecticut (hereinafter referred to as "POLICEAPP"), and the Nashua Police
Department, located in Nashua, NH (hereinafter referred to as the "CLIENT".

WHEREAS CLIENT desires to retain POLICEAPP to provide certain Services, as detailed below,
and POLICEAPP is willing to perform such Services under the terms and conditions hereinafter set

forth;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter set forth,
and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby
acknowledged, the parties hereto agree and covenant as follows:

Term. The initial term of this Agreement shall be for a period of three (3) years from Effective
Date. Upon expiration of the initial term, the agreement will terminate unless renewed by
the client for subsequent terms of 1 year.

Services. POLICEAPP will provide CLIENT with the following services (the “Services”):

CLIENT will receive a client account (the “Client Account”), with an associated user
name and password, for accessing the job recruitment and application review tools
available via www.PoliceApp.com (the “Website”);

CLIENT will receive the ability to generate job postings on the Website;

CLIENT will receive the ability to review applicant information of individuals who
have applied to a CLIENT job posting on the Website (“Applicants”); and,

CLIENT will have access to additional recruitment tools available on the Website.

Fees. POLICEAPP reserves the right to impose reasonable fees, in the event that any
modifications or additional services are requested by the CLIENT
Client’s Obligations.

a. Website Terms of Use. CLIENT agrees at all times to adhere to the Website Terms

of Use as set forth on the Website and included herein as Addendum A.

Security; Access; Notification of Breach. CLIENT is responsible for all activities
that occur under the Client Account. CLIENT is responsible for maintaining the
security and confidentiality of its user names and passwords. Only CLIENT, by and
through its authorized agents and representatives, shall use the Client Account.
CLIENT shall not grant access to the Client Account to any third party users. Only
official email addresses associated with the CLIENT’s particular domain name shall
be acceptable for use in the creation of the Client Account. CLIENT shall notify
POLICEAPP immediately upon learning of any unauthorized use of the Client
Account, the Website or any other known or suspected breach of security related
to the Website or the Services.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

A. Maintain temperature and humidity recommended by the sealant manufacturer
during and after installation.

B. VOC Standards - All sealants shall be in accordance with all applicable State and
Federal VOC standards.
