To the Nashua Board of Aldermen,

My husband and I support face covering legislation put forth by Alderman Klee and Alderman Lopez.
Wearing a face mask protects others.

We hope this legislation is passed by the Board of Aldermen in the spirit of "we are in this all together".
Best regards,

Margie Frans and Geoff Daly

Subject: Special Session 12/21 Mask Mandate

CAUTION: This email came from outside of the organization. Do not click links/open attachments if source is

Honorable Members of the BOA,

The need for the mask mandate is urgent and this current board needs to act upon it. My fellow healthcare workers are
overwhelmed with covid patients in the local hospitals, add the typical medical care needed and our system is a stone’s
throw from collapsing. A mask mandate will assist in reducing the spread of covid 19 and help reduce the burden of our
local hospitals. Just two weeks ago one of my patients was “admitted” to St. Joes. She was there for three days and
received all her care in the waiting room because there were no medical beds available for her in the hospitat. This is
the out of sight destruction anti-vax cowards bring to our community, while it won't solve the problem — the mask will
help.

Warmest Regards,
Rep. Moran

Hon. Melbourne R Moran Jr.

| wish to express my concern for the proposed mask mandate on the agenda tonight and recommend
to all of the alderman to vote NO for reinstating the mask mandate for Nashua. PLease convey my
thoughts to all of the alderman.

There is no DEFINITIVE PROOF that wearing masks prevents the spread of Covid.
To date , there are NO confirmed deaths in NH or the country from Omicron.
Passing this will dramatically affect the smail business’ in our city during a critical time of the year.

DO THE RIGHT THING AND VOTE NO I!

Subject: Mask Mandate--Help Protect My Infant

To Whom It May Concern,

I’m writing to you today as a constituent of Ward 6--my address is 6 Revere Street, Nashua, NH—who is in
favor of implementing the city-wide mask mandate again. Due to the sharp rise in cases, | feel as though it is in
the best interest for our city if we are doing everything we can to keep ourselves and others safe from the
pandemic, especially since we cannot be sure who is or is not vaccinated.

I'm writing this particularly to protect my son. Eoin Shea is 14 weeks old, born on 9/9/2021. Eoin is much too
young to receive his covid vaccine. He also is much too young to wear a mask. Unfortunately, Eoin cannot live
in a bubble. He attends daycare in the city, attends doctors visits in the city, and has on one occasion been to
the hospital’s emergency room here in the city. As his mother, | work for the city. | am lucky enough that my
place of employment has required masks be worn indoors by staff and patrons alike. This small safeguard
provides me with a small sense of protection against the virus that has no signs of slowing.

| returned to work two weeks ago from maternity leave, and now feel like I’m risking Eoin’s wellbeing if | do
something as simple as picking up groceries at Shaw’s on my way home from work after picking him up. The
trips we’ve made out in public have been few and far between, made more complicated and stressful by
people refusing to mask, invading his personal space to “see the baby”, and belittling me for asking them to
please give us space as he has a very immature immune system.

Eoin is my only child, and will remain my only child. He is my world. After struggling to get pregnant with him
and having a rocky delivery, I’d do anything to protect him--including writing to you today on his behalf. Please
take a moment to consider the children who are too young to be vaccinated or wear protection like masks
when you are deciding on the mask mandate this evening. Attached is a photo of Eoin, the little guy you'd be

protecting by passing the mandate.

Thank you, on behalf of Eoin and myself.

enhance viewership and public interest in the P-Channel.

The schedule for the 1“ year is shown below. We propose:

of 2 months following start of our contract. During this period the current contractor will
gradually phase out its operations, as we assume ours.

Formal training for a period of 4 month following 1 month of familiarization.

The Bulletin Board be developed by BRBTV during month 2 of the contract, and go on-
line at the end of month 2.

The Policy and Procedures Manual be produced in draft form for review by CTAB 2
month following start of contract, and finalized 3 months following start of contract.

The Hosted programs produced by BRBTV begin 1 month after start of contract,
following a period of familiarization and execution of renewed host agreements.

The Field Produced programs produced by BRBTV begin 3 months after start of contract,
following familiarization and training.

Loaning out equipment to Nashua resident producers and broadcasting their contributions
by BRBTV begin 2 months after start of contract, following drafting of the various user-
oriented documentation and familiarization and training on the editing equipment.

The Public Hearing be conducted at the end of month 11 of the contract.

The Annual Survey be conducted in months 11 and 12 after start of contract.

We do not show a work plan and schedule for years 2 and 3 as this will be defined and proposed
to CTAB near the end of the first year of the contract.

Hello -
] am writing in support of the mask mandate. I am Susan McNamee, 94 Concord St, Nashua, NH 03064.

I am a health care professional in Nashua - for over 30 years. This has to happen to stop the worsening of the
pandemic. It is appalling

that people decline masks - put ALL of us at risk, and expect us to be at continued risk while we care for them.
All because they " don't want

to be told what to do". We are all told what to do - all the time. This is dangerous and crazy-
Thank you .

Dear Alderpersons of Nashua:

Jam writing as a Ward 3 resident and local pediatrician asking that you support the masking legislation.

lam a pediatrician in Nashua, and | live on Berkeley St.

Masking is such a simple “ask” to help protect everyone. I’m exhausted. My colleagues are exhausted. Last night | had to
prepare the family of an ill young child that if they needed to go to the ED to prepare for an hours-long wait to be seen. |
pray | never have to be calling a family to give my condolences that their child has died from Covid. | pray that should
those families that CHOOSE not to protect themselves and their children/teens by getting vaccinated (or getting their
vaccine-eligible kids vaccinated) that | won’t be attending their or their child/teen’s funeral.

It’s mind-boggling even to me who lives in the medical world that the Omicron variant is MORE contagious than delta.
We’re inundated with Covid-illness right now due primarily to delta—the Omicron storm has just started and it’s going
to be messy and widespread. Vaccination will never be mandated in our country, so we absolutely are obligated to
provide as many other layers of public-health protection available to us. Masking is easy, it’s something >99% of the
population can easily do without any downsides except fogging of glasses and awkwardness. We've given folks the
chance to do this individually, but it’s not working.

Thanks for all you do.

Respectfully,
Lila H Monahan, MD, FAAP
