The prototype turbine shall be designed for a maximum hydraulic capacity of approximately 800 cfs at 21 feet of net head. The

Variable Speed, Permanent Magnet Generating Equipment
General

Mavel is not providing a proposal for the variable speed, permanent magnet generating equipment. The experience with this
equipment is it is more expensive and requires additional electrical equipment and control. There may also be interconnection

concerns with the local utility that would need to be clarified.

Turbine equipment weight and delivery time information is included in the following forms. Turbine efficiency information is
provided in Section 6, Appendix B.
