THE HINGES DON'T WORK OR SECURE PROPERLY.
A TOTALOF 37 LOCKERSARE OUT OF SERVICE AND NOT
ASSIGNED DUE TO LACK OF FUNCTION.
WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY 88 LOCKERS WHERE SHED HASPS
WERE ADDED JUST TO SECURE THE LOCKERS.

INVENTORY AND MAKE AN ASSESSMENT OF THE FACILITIES

EXPECTANCY. ESTIMATE OF APPROX. $2,500,000.00 FOR
UPGRADES PROVIDED.
$2,800,000 PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED UNDER
RESOLUTION R-19-127 APPROVED IN APRIL 2019 TO PAY
COSTS OF THE HVAC SYSTEMS UPGRADES AND WINDOW
IMPROVEMENTS.
YEATON ASSOCIATES INC. WAS RETAINED IN 2019 FOR
ENGINEERING/ DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE RECOMMENDED
UPGRADES.

NASHUA PD HVAC SYSTEMS-HISTORY
THE HVAC SYSTEMS WERE DESIGNED IN TWO (2) STAGES
WITH THE “ORIGINAL* PART OF THE FACILITY DESIGNED IN
1977 AND A SUBSEQUENT ADDITION AND RENOVATION
PROJECT IN 1999. THE HVAC SYSTEMS FOR THE TWO PARTS
OF THE FACILITY ARE COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT; THE 1977
DESIGN IS BASED ON A WATER SOURCE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM
AND THE1999 DESIGN IS BASED ONA VARIABLE AIR VOLUME
SYSTEM.
THE 1977 DESIGN INCORPORATEDA PISTOL RANGE ANDA
FLEET MAINTENANCE GARAGE AT THE BASEMENT LEVEL;
EACH WITH DEDICATED HVAC SYSTEMS.

REQUEST TOISSUE BONDS NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION
FIVE HUNDREDAND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,550,000).
THE PROCEEDS OF SAID BONDS SHALL BE USED IN ADDITION
TO THE $2,800,000 PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED UNDER
RESOLUTION R-19-127 APPROVED ONAPRIL 30, 2019 TO PAY
COSTS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S HEATING,
