For this city to continue to be ranked among the best in the country, we need to invest in people-centered activities.
Whatever the final design of the Elm St property, it needs to contain community spaces and invite community activity.
This is now and has been the Keefe.

I’m asing my Alderman in Ward 1 to understand this and vote to keep Keefe, and | thank you all for your consideration in

this.

I would like to have the following included on future alderman meeting:agenda:

There is no signage on Main Street that directs drivers on how to get to the area where drivers can get the
Broad Street Parkway. Millions were spent to build / property taken to lessen traffic on Main Street so I think
it makes sense to let drivers know how to get to it. Also, it is now referred to as the Broad Street and or
Veteran's Parkway. It needs one name.

Also, I went to a downtown restaurant last week.. Had to park on Main Street it indicated I needed to pay via
a kios but absolutely no directions of where to find that kios. Wandered around and finally Main Street found

it.

Pursuant to NRO: § 5-74/B: A contract that extends from the current fiscal year into succeeding
fiscal year(s) in which no funds have been appropriated nor otherwise designated for this purpose
shall be approved by the full Board of Aldermen before the contract shall become binding on the

City.

The Finance Committee has approved and placed on file the notification of the award of the
referenced contract at the July 6, 2022 meeting and as such | am requesting the full Board of
Alderman approve the following contract:

Value: $6,500 per year for 2 years to total $13,000
