Members of the Board of Aldermen,

Yes, out door dining if fine, but not all the barriers that block traffic. Most tables could be on the side
walk in front of the restaurants, not in the road, no need for barriers... There would be room for people
to walk past tables. Sidewalks are wide enough to accommodate both, diners and pedestrians.

This e-mail is to let you know that tam in support of outdoor dining in Nashua.

Our downtown restaurants and shops worked heroically to continue serving our
community during the last two very challenging years of the pandemic. Extended outdoor
dining was instrumental to our restaurants and bars being able to remain open. They were
able to stay in business and keep our many food service workers employed. Shops
reported that they saw increased foot traffic and sales from these customers as well.

Very good rationale to continue to support the outdoor dining.

Yes, we should continue outdoor dining in the downtown area. Nashua should also be looking at
reducing the automobile traffic on Main St. Alternate routes, effective traffic control is where we
should be using tax payers money. Everybody can benefit. The downtown venue will change for the
better if we make it more accessibie and pretty it up. We should not do a compromise plan. That is
just a half way measure to hopefully satisfy some people. There is the potential to create a new
downtown. Go for it!

| understand you will be deciding on whether to continue outdoor dining in downtown Nashua soon. | hope you will
continue it, even though it restricts traffic on Main Street. | don’t think restricting downtown traffic is a bad thing at any
time. | also enjoy eating outdoors in warm and pleasant weather. As | understand it, the outdoor dining also increases
revenue to the local restaurants and other downtown establishments, and to the city.

Hi,

I am a supporter of downtown outdoor dining. My family typically heads out to eat on Friday nights and we
loved being able to eat outside and have all of the art around us.

The expanded downtown dining makes Nashua a destination for people... I have seen co-workers from
neighboring towns in downtown, that may have headed up to Manchester.

It is something special and unique that Nashua has to offer and I hope this continues.

There are alternatives to driving through downtown for traffic concerns and it is critical to continue to support
our local chef owned restaurants.
