A meeting of the Finance Committee was held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the
Aldermanic Chamber.

Other issues with the
Dodge Charger

The submission date for 2020 Dodge Charger
was October 31, 2019. Charger is now not
available until sometime in 2021.

Unable to key the entire fleet. Able to program
only four keys. At a cost of $196.20.

During 2010 testing of Dodge Charger we
experienced engine and frontend issues.

lf a marked vehicle becomes inoperable
(accident, etc.) we would not be able to replace
it with an unmarked vehicle.

Ford v. Dodge

cee ae have extensive experience working on Ford
vehicles.

Ford parts are interchangeable with marked patrol vehicles.
All Ford vehicles are keyed alike.
Ford is engineered for 75 mph rear impact crash.

lf a marked vehicle becomes inoperable (accident, etc.) we
would be able to transfer an unmarked vehicle to a marked
vehicle using parts on hand until a new vehicle can be
acquired.
