AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPLY FOR AND EXPEND THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (“CDBG”) AND HOME INVESTMENT
PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022

In the Year Two Thousand Twenty One
RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Nashua
a.
The City will accept up to 5,000 tons of urban fill, defined as mildly contaminated soils
which do not exceed NHDES Soil Remediation Standards, from the City Lot
at a time mutually agreeable to the City, as determined by its Director of Public
Works, and PSNH but in no event later than by June 30, 2022.
The City cannot take the Construction and Demolition (“C & D”) waste. That is pass-
through material for the City landfill and the City currently has a high volume coming into its
facility.
FIFTH AMENDMENT TO PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT
FIFTH AMENDMENT made as of __, 2021 by and between PUBLIC SERVICE
COMPANY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE doing business as Eversource Energy, (“PSNH”) and the City of
Nashua (“City”), parties to that certain Purchase and Sale Agreement dated November 26, 2019 for an
exchange of property among PSNH and the City, as amended by Amendments dated March 19, 2020,
May 21, 2020, July 24, 2020 and December 11, 2020 (“Agreement”).

PINE STREET EXTENSION (MAP 77, LOT 2A)

In the Year Two Thousand and Twenty-One
The city will still be governed by current FMLA regulations which would require up to 12 weeks
of unpaid FMLA leave to eligible employees who are being treated for COVID-19 or who are
caring for a family member who is suffering from COVID 19.
The city’s COVID19 Return to Work Policy will remain in effect and employee screening will
continue. Employees will be able to use personal leave time if available and as prescribed by
their collective bargaining agreement or policy should they need to quarantine.
