the barriers out, | don’t even think we get that great of assistance, because we do not have the equipment in-
house within the Board of Public Works, so we have to pay a contractor to do so. That was done last year, it
was done in the installation and removal. And from what | understand from Director Cummings it will be done
as they are installed for this year.

Could we live with the idea of Main Street being a destination as opposed to a thoroughfare where you are
trying to get from one end of Main Street to the other as fast as possible. The people who use Main Street as
a thoroughfare were very frustrated because it took a lot longer to get from end to the other, but | think in many
ways that’s a good thing.
