Thank you. Madam President, the overall purpose of this Ordinance is to basically clarify and consolidate
some of the different provisions regarding driveways from various different parts of Land Use Code and the
DPW Code that they use, which is what it does. In doing that, in putting this together, there was one
paragraph #4 of the original ordinance which dealt with basically the ends of the driveways and how they were
going to be measured. It appeared that there was some conflicting information between the different areas as
to how that should be handled. So rather than try to explain it all in this Ordinance, Paragraph 4 has just been
stricken and the rest of the provisions of the Ordinance have remained the same.
