Maybe | misspoke. The $40,000.00 would be the total amount we’ve spent from last August until this June
30". We have spent pretty close to $25,000.00 that’s why we felt it important to come in and ask for Finance
Committee approval.

A meeting of the Finance Committee was held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. via teleconference.
Mayor Jim Donchess, Chairman, presided.

As Chair of the Finance Committee, | find that due to the State of Emergency declared by the Governor
as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the Governor's Emergency Order #12 pursuant
to Executive Order 2020-04 and subsequent extensions, this public body is authorized to meet electronically.

Well that’s a good idea, maybe we should do some research into what the old neighborhoods were. What
maybe the neighborhood names that have gone, into what they really were.

Well this year’s | think is $38,000.00. We look at kind of a 3-year trailing average of ridership and then we
make a best guess of that and work with Merrimack to come up with a reasonable amount. There was a
significant decrease last year fairly with COVID a lot less travel. Working with Merrimack we assumed that
would not be the case this year going forward and so we are not expecting a significant decrease in this
contract than last year.
