Pursuant to City Charter § 50. Finance committee states, “a finance committee shall be
“composed of the mayor and three aldermen-at-large and three ward aldermen”. When
preparing the committee assignments, | overlooked appointing three aldermen-at-large and only
included one.

The Board of Aldermen,

These actions are not acceptable to the Nashua residents. By physically seeing our Aldermen
interface with other Aldermen allows the elected officials to engage face-to-face, verbal and
non-verbal forms of communication that enhance the public’ understating of the business
conducted and allows members of the public to personally address their officials when the
meeting is over. This is an essential part of the public meetings.
