ARTICLE 32: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING MEETINGS AND CONTRACT

No more than five (5) representatives of the Association shall be designated to attend collective
bargaining meetings with the Commission or its representatives. No more than three (3) such
representatives attending negotiating meetings shall be employees who are normally scheduled
for duty during the time the meeting is being held. The designated representatives of the
Association shall be given a reasonable opportunity to meet with the Commission or its
representatives during working hours without loss of compensation.

The Commission agrees to make arrangements for, and assume the costs of, printing this
Agreement. The Association agrees to make and provide a copy of the Agreement to each
bargaining unit employee.

Extra copies of this Agreement may be made available to each bargaining unit member by the
Commission or the Department.

ARTICLE 33: TERM OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect from midnight, July 1, 2015 until midnight,
June 30, 2019.

If either of the principle parties intend to alter or modify this Agreement or negotiate a successor
agreement hereto shall give notice to the other party of such intention at least one-hundred and
twenty (120) days prior to the expiration date hereof, after which the parties shall forthwith arrange
to commence collective bargaining negotiations.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until
superseded by a successor agreement.

This Agreement is dated day of , 2016.

assessed Association dues from my weekly earnings. The Comptroller is directed to remit
such deductions to the designated officer of the Nashua Police Supervisors Association.

RELATIVE TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROPRIATION OF $63,790 FROM THE
STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE INTO POLICE GRANT
ACTIVITY “FY2020 VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT (VAWA) GRANT
PROGRAM” AND TO AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF MATCHING FUNDS

CITY OF NASHUA

In the Year Two Thousand and Nineteen

RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Nashua that the City of Nashua and
the Nashua Police Department are authorized to accept and appropriate $63,790 from the State of
New Hampshire Department of Justice into Police Grant Activity “FY2020 Violence Against
Women Act (VAWA) Grant Program” and to authorize the transfer of matching funds in the
amount of $74,373 from Department 194 “Contingency”, Account #70120 “Contingency, Police
Grants” for the purpose of funding law enforcement programs for the period of January 1, 2020
through December 31, 2020.

FURTHER RESOLVED the Mayor is authorizes to enter into any grant agreement or
other document necessary for this purpose.

FISCAL NOTE: Fiscal impact is a $63,790 grant to be used for a specific
purpose. Transfer reduces amount in contingency account.

ANALYSIS

This resolution authorizes the city to accept and appropriate $63,790 from the State of New
Hampshire Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Grant Program for the purpose of funding
law enforcement programs for the period of January 01, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
$74,373 of matching funds, budgeted for this purpose, will be transferred into the Police Grant
Activity.

Charter Sec. 53 permits the Board of Aldermen to transfer any unencumbered appropriation
balance or any portion thereof from one department, fund or agency to another. NRO § 5-130, H
provides that “when proposed legislation to transfer or reappropriate a particular appropriation or
portion thereof has had its first reading, such funds shall not be expended or transferred while the
legislation is pending”.

ORDINANCE

PROHIBITING PARKING ON ALAN STREET BETWEEN 7 A.M. AND 10 A.M.
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WHILE SCHOOL IS IN SESSION

CITY OF NASHUA

In the Year Two Thousand and Nineteen

The City of Nashua ordains that Part II “General Legislation”, Chapter 320 “Vehicles
and Traffic”, Article XII “Parking, Stopping and Standing”, Section 320-70 “No parking certain
hours and days” of the Nashua Revised Ordinances, as amended, be hereby further amended by
adding the new underlined language in alphabetical order as follows:

“§ 320-70. No parking certain hours and days.

No parking whatsoever shall be permitted on the following streets during the hours and
days indicated:

Name of Street Side Hours/Days Location

Alan Street Both 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m./Monday Entire length”
through Friday, school days

All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

This ordinance shall become effective at the time of removal and/or installation of the necessary
sign(s).

REMOVING THE FIFTEEN-MINUTE PARKING TIME LIMIT ON A PORTION OF
THE EAST SIDE OF WALNUT STREET

CITY OF NASHUA

In the Year Two Thousand and Nineteen

The City of Nashua ordains that Part II “General Legislation”, Chapter 320 “Vehicles
and Traffic”, Article X “Parking Time Limits in Non-Parking-Lot Areas”, Section 320-35
“Fifteen-minute parking”, of the Nashua Revised Ordinances, as amended, be hereby further

amended by deleting the struck-through language as follows:
“§ 320-35. Thirty-minute parking.

No vehicle shall be stationed or remain for a period exceeding 15 minutes on the
following streets:
