being here tonight to vote on this contract and those of you that are on the phone. This contract consists of
16 FDE’s and it is two fiscal years in arears, having expired in July 2018. The first proposal was vetoed last
year around this time.

President Wilshire declared Dr. Storace, Dr. Cappetta and Dr. Wolf-Rosenblum duly elected as
members of the Board of Health for the ensuing two years.
Oath of Office will be administered by City Clerk Lovering at the Board of Health’s meeting on
January 8, 2020.
President Wilshire presented the Committee Assignments to the members of the Board of
Aldermen.

for the drawing of the seating in the Aldermanic Chamber.

The Organizational Meeting of the Board of Aldermen for 2020-2021 was held Sunday,
January 5, 2020, following the termination of the Inauguration Exercises for the 110th City
Government in the Nashua High School North Auditorium.
City Clerk Susan K. Lovering called the Assembly to order at 12:58 p.m.
The roll call was taken with 15 members of the Board of Aldermen present.
His Honor James W. Donchess and Corporation Counsel Steven A. Bolton were also in
attendance.

ORDINANCE: O-20-002
PURPOSE: Establishing election poll hours
ENDORSERS: Alderman-at-Large Ben Clemons

FISCAL NOTE: None.
ANALYSIS
This legislation establishes by ordinance the election poll hours (6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) that
have consistently been adopted by the City through each election resolution. RSA 659:4 notes
that “{i]n cities, the city council shall determine the polling hours no later than 30 days prior to a
state election.”
