SCA NH Conservation Corps 2021 Hitch Schedule
SCA NH Corps offers 10-day work hitches. Hitches consist of 10 work days, including
travel and pack-in, and one day off. Crews can vary is size from 5-7 AmeriCorps
members and are supported by a roving crew supervisor.

@ = (200’) 1/2” Rebar. Can be purchased in a variety of lengths; minimum 3’ long.
« (100 screws) 10” TimberLok Screws. These come in a variety of box sizes.
e 3/4” Processed Gravel. This will be needed to fill the box steps.

Project Partner is not required to insure SCA, its staff, crew members, any contractor,
subcontractor or any professional service provider.
5. TERM and TERMINATION.

a. To provide site and project work specifications, technical assistance as
required, and to collaborate with the SCA staff as mutually agreed to carry out
Project work;
b. To pay SCA a project fee of $21,000 (Twenty-One Thousand Dollars) for
Project Services to be paid in accordance to below 3.1.e; and any additional
amounts that may be required by section 5 of this Agreement.
c. To purchase and provide all necessary building materials-and supplies for the
projects;

while they are accumulating service or training hours, or otherwise
performing activities associated with the program:
Attempting to influence legislation.
Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.
Assisting, promoting or deterring union organizing.
Impairing existing contracts for services of collective bargaining agreements.
Engaging in partisan political activities or other activities designed to influence the
outcome of an election to any public office. .

e The staircase will be replaced with 6 x 6” pressure treated lumber
using the box step, or “crib step” design.
e The stairs will function as both a staircase and as an erosion control
structure to retain soil.
e The stairs will be secured in place using lengths of steel rebar
anchored into the hillside.
e There will be 3 individual sets of stairs with landings connecting them
to complete the full run, similar to the current layout.

This Scope of Service Agreement is made and entered into by and between The Student
Conservation Association, Inc., a nonprofit New York corporation, with its principal place of

Nashua, New Hampshire with its principal place of business at 229 Main Street, Nashua, NH
