Standard Specifications and Special Provisions
Main Street Sidewalk Improvements- Block 3 & 4 Crosswalk Curbing
Joints between curbstones shall be carefully filled with cement mortar and shall be neatly pointed
on top and exposed front portions. Cement mortar shall be composed of equal parts of cement
and sand with sufficient water to form a workable mixture.
The City will also be responsible for backfilling immediately after the curb is set and jointed.

All Items that are not included in the special provision shall comply with the latest approved
NHDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, the latest approved City of
Nashua Standard Specifications for Road Construction Sewer and Drains, the latest approved
NHDOT Standard Plans for Construction and the latest approved edition of Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices.
