Re: Withdrawing Expenditure Request for Downtown Nashua Holiday Lights/Decorations
MOTION BY ALDERMAN SIEGEL TO ACCEPT AND PLACE ON FILE
ON THE QUESTION
Chairman Cookson
Basically what has happened is the Downtown Improvement Committee has reduced the purchase by one
lighting fixture reducing the cost by about $3,000. The threshold to come before Finance is $10,000. With that
reduction in price, it no longer meets that threshold so that’s why | don’t believe it needs to come before this
committee. That was a short explanation of the communication.
MOTION CARRIED
Communication withdrawn from Dan Kooken, Purchasing Manager, regarding purchase of holiday lighting.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS — None
