Board of Aldermen 11-23-2021 Page 3
Mayor Donchess
Well there's nothing to share because you haven't confirmed. You haven't confirmed him yet. But once he’s confirmed,
I'm pretty confident we'll be able to come up with a Comptroller in short order.
Alderwoman Lu
May | respond?
President Wilshire
Yes.
Alderwoman Lu
My hopes is that not that you can come up with someone that can provide us with that very important service but that you
would have someone fully trained and fully capable of taking on that role before you start mixing...
Mayor Donchess
Pardon me, but we do have that on staff.
Alderwoman Lu
Please tell.
Mayor Donchess
You'll find out as soon as | make the appointment.
Alderman Clemons
Thank you Madam President. It seems kind of funny to say this at this point but in regards to the person who the Mayor
mentioned that made false comments last night, | was at that meeting as well. That same person said that Nashua
doesn't have a republican form of government today. So, you know, | think we can basically just rule out some people
aren't living in reality and we have to consider the source. So Mayor don't feel bad. Keep doing what you're doing and |
guess we'll get through the crazy. Thanks.
President Wilshire
Anyone else responses to the Remarks of Mayor? Seeing none.
