housing according to various criteria in different areas of the city. Inclusionary zoning is important because it requires that
some of the units, depending on the formula and where this is occurring, be affordable in every development in the city.
This affordable housing issue, of course, is one that we've discussed many times. People are struggling to pay rent, to
buy houses, costs are very high, rents and property values have gone up tremendously. So this is a very important piece
of legislation and | believe from what I've heard from all of you, | expect you will approve it. But | just wanted to comment
on the favorable impact it would have on the city.

| did want to mention to those who will be leaving us and tonight is the last full meeting of the year of the term. We've
enjoyed having you with us being on the Board of Aldermen serving the City of Nashua, serving our community is truly an
honor. It's something I'm sure you've learned a lot about the city government in the course of time you've been here.
Hopefully you won't be strangers and will continue to be involved in the community in one way or another. | want to just
personally thank you for, you know, everything that you've given to the city during the course of your time on the Board of
Aldermen. At least in June's case, as a city employee previous for that. So | wish you all the best.

Finally, New Year is a few days away. So hopefully 2022 will be a good year for us. | think the city is doing very well but
of course COVID is storming back now and hopefully we'll get beyond that and have a happy and prosperous 2022.
That's all | have Madam President.
