A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the aldermanic
chamber as well as via Zoom teleconference.

President Lori Wilshire presided; Deputy City Clerk Allison Waite recorded.
Prayer was offered by Deputy City Clerk Allison Waite; Alderman Thomas Lopez led in the Pledge to the Flag.

Let’s start the meeting by taking a roll call attendance. When each member states their presence, please indicate if
participating via Zoom state why you are not meeting in person and whether there is anyone in the room with you during
this meeting which is required under the Right-To-Know Law.

Deputy City Clerk Waite called the roll and asked them to state the reason he or she could not attend, confirmed that
they could hear the proceedings, and stated who was present with him or her.

The roll call was taken with 9 members of the Board of Aldermen present: Alderman Michael B. O’Brien, Sr.,
Alderman Patricia Klee, Alderman Thomas Lopez, Alderman David C. Tencza, Alderwoman Elizabeth Lu (arrived
late), Alderman Jan Schmidt, Alderman Skip Cleaver, Alderman Linda Harriott-Gathright, and Alderman Lori Wilshire.

Alderwoman Shoshanna Kelly, Alderman Richard A. Dowd, Alderman June M. Caron, Alderman Benjamin Clemons,
Alderman Ernest Jette, and Alderman Brandon Michael Laws were recorded absent.

Mayor James W. Donchess, Corporation Counsel Steven A. Bolton were also in attendance.
COMMUNICATIONS
From: Lori Wilshire, President Board of Aldermen
Re: Calling a Special Board of Aldermen meeting relative to Resolution R-21-157 Authorizing the City of Nashua
to Enter into a Memorandum of Understanding Regarding the Bronstein Redevelopment
There being no objection, President Wilshire accepted the communication and placed it on file.

MOTION BY ALDERMAN HARRIOTT-GATHRIGHT TO ACCEPT, PLACE ON FILE AND APPROVE THE
CONTRACT WITH DEFELICE CORPORATION OF DRACUT, MA, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $5,335,200
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE PUMP STATION UPGRADES PHASE II PROJECT. FUNDING WILL BE
THROUGH: DEPARTMENT 169 WASTEWATER; FUND: SRF LOAN; ACTIVITY: PUMP STATION UPGRADES
