R-21-127 - AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY TREASURER TO ISSUE BONDS NOT TO EXCEED
THE AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS
($5,408,000) FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 CITY’S SEWER INFRASTRUCTURE

Yes as Alderman Wilshire just stated, we are going to have public hearings tonight on Resolutions

R-21-127 and R-21-128. The first resolutions is authorizing the Mayor and the City Treasurer to issue

bonds not to exceed the amount of $5,408,000 for Fiscal Year 2021 city’s sewer infrastructure program. |

So as noted, this is about the sewer bonds. Here’s a picture of an old sewer plan and profile. This
program addresses our collection system. So just looking through the numbers here, we have 446 miles of
the collection system. It’s broken down into sewer — about 82 miles. That's combined sewer where the
storm water and the sewer combined. Then we have sanitary sewer — 234 miles and 130 miles of separate
storm drain. Thirteen pump stations, 9 combined sewer overflow structures. That’s along the rivers that if
