There are amendments in there to the way the appointments of the alternates. The legislation as submitted
had the change to the vice chairmanship in there and as | said prior to the legislation there was no vice chair
named in the ordinance and that was one of the issues that it had.

| am not going to support that and the reason is that we live in a time when we should be respectful of other

peoples’ wishes as far as their gender identity goes and to me this is an attempt to put an identity on a
particular individual and | am not going to support it.
