MOTION BY ALDERMAN O’BRIEN THAT THE SEPTEMBER 10, 2019, MEETING OF THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN BE ADJOURNED ~~ BY ROLL CALL

A viva voce roll call was taken which resulted as follows:

up to positions within the State and then being promoted within City Hall here. It is a testament to all the
folks who work here and the amount of appreciate that they have for the City and hopefully they understand
how much we appreciate what they do for us as well.

Yes | would like to say that | will be walking with you, | did join your team and | have been trying to raise
some money so | want that hat, yes.

it. | have no objection with the negative vote, it is part of the Legislative Process and | think the students
understand in their maturity. So | think it was good and it is all part of the democracy.

The second thing, if allowed, is I’d like to congratulate and admit a great loss that we are going to feel here
in the Board with Sue Lovering being appointed downstairs to the City Clerk’s Office. | think she has been
asset to this Board. And | wish Patricia Piecuch again best wishes in her new assignment and everything.

| don’t think anyone has Alderman Lopez. We can have a difference of opinion and that’s ok. Any group

that comes before us that makes a presentation doesn’t mean we have to vote in favor, that’s our
prerogative as a Board. | don’t think anyone has been disrespectful to the students.
