READING MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS AND PUBLIC HEARINGS

There being no objection, President Wilshire declared the minutes of the Board of Aldermen
meetings of May 14, 2019, May 16, 2019, and May 20, 2019, accepted, placed on file, and the
readings suspended.

So it does become very difficult to know if you don’t know who this person is sending it. So | would love
to have some kind of a meeting like that.

| think there was one situation where they sent phishing expedition of e-mails that look like that they
came from me and I’m asking them to do X, Y, or Z which obviously | never sent.

| have you on spam filter anyway.

But there is phishing training, in other words, IT puts out phishing e-mails to our employees to make
sure that they don’t respond and if they do respond to a suspicious e-mail that we, the City, creates, they
are then asked to undergo more training regarding how to detect suspicious e-mails.

A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. in the
Aldermanic Chamber.

President Lori Wilshire presided; City Clerk Patricia D. Piecuch recorded.

Prayer was offered by City Clerk Patricia D. Piecuch; Alderman Richard A. Dowd led in the Pledge to the
Flag.

The roll call was taken with 14 members of the Board of Aldermen present; Alderman Gidge was
recorded absent. Alderman Lopez, Alderman Laws and Alderman Clemons arrived after roll call at 7:31
p.m., 7:32 p.m., and 7:33 p.m., respectively.

| want to congratulate Alderman Clemons and Alderman Gathright for having the courage to be the sole
nay votes on the two motions or two or three motions. I’ve been there and | recognize their courage in
doing so.
