The roll call was taken with 14 members of the Board of Aldermen present: Alderman Michael B. O’Brien,
Sr., Alderman Patricia Klee, Alderwoman Shoshanna Kelly, Alderman Richard A. Dowd, Alderman June M.
Caron, Alderman Benjamin Clemons, Alderman Lopez, Alderman David C. Tencza, Alderwoman Elizabeth
Lu, Alderman Ernest Jette, Alderman Jan Schmidt, Alderman Skip Cleaver, Alderman Linda Harriott-
Gathright, Alderman Wilshire.

Alderman Brandon Michael Laws was recorded absent.

A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. via
teleconference.

President Lori Wilshire presided; City Clerk Susan Lovering recorded.

City Clerk Lovering called the roll and asked them to state the reason he or she could not attend, confirmed
that they could hear the proceedings, and stated who was present with him or her.

A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. via
teleconference.

As part of the animal, they call it the ADPAC and now I’m blanking on the Committee’s name but as an
alternate to that committee and him going to the meetings, it is an issue between the Humane Society and
our ACO, Animal Control Officer. So we do need to look into it and we do need to — and that’s why |
brought it to the attention of Alderwoman Kelly and so on. We have to take care of that issue. So thank
you.

Thank you, President Wilshire. | just wanted to briefly state that and put in my condolences to the Slattery
Family. It is a terrible loss and it is just made worse that it was with the COVID-19. So again, my sincere
condolences. And the other thing | just wanted to mention that it is nice to see my colleague Alderman
Laws back, | look forward to working with you and let’s have a great and happy summer moving forward.
