in advance of the expiration hereof if possible, and if said successor agreement has not been
executed prior to said expiration date, then the parties shall conduct themselves in accordance with
the principle of "status quo," or as otherwise required by law.
Article 41
Savings Clause
If any provision of this agreement, or application of such provision, should be rendered or declared
invalid by any court action or by reason of any existing or subsequently enacted legislation, the
remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent not
inconsistent with State and Federal law.
