thank you for your wisdom, Mary. | just want to say Merry Christmas to everyone and Happy Kwanza to my
colleagues as well as the City.
Alderman Dowd
Yes very quickly, | just want to wish Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone on the Board and
their entire families and a safe Holiday Season. Ken and Mary Ann | have known both of you for many,
many years. Ken and | go back all the way to high school at least. So I’ve known him a couple days. And
of course Mary Ann | am sure we will be seeing you lots as we normally do. Congratulations for all of your
service and Mary Ann was also on the Board of Education with me, and served the City well for a number
of years.
The other thing I’d like to do is I’d like to thank everyone for their support and the vote for the School Bond.
It’s well appreciated by me and when this whole process started it was Alderman McCarthy and myself and
he was leading the charge at that time. | have taken that over for him and it is my intent to make sure that
the project is finished, on-time, under-budget and meets everybody’s expectations.
Alderman Klee
Yes thank you | want to echo the sentiments that it has been great working with Alderman Gidge and
Alderwoman Melizzi-Golja. Alderman Gidge and | do serve up in Concord. Two years ago he was my
seatmate and | was like his wife. | nagged him constantly; probably worse than his wife was. But you will
be missed here though | will still see you up in Concord.
Alderwoman Melizzi-Golja, | often talk about Corporation knowledge; you’ve been amazing, to be able to
learn from you and to hear from you | really appreciate and thank you.
| also want to wish everybody Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and Happy Kwanza and
all the other ones | am forgetting. | want to echo Alderman Dowd about the School Bond. There has been
a lot of work hard work going and | appreciate everybody’s support on that. It’s also a lot of money so |
understand people’s anxiety on it.
To my Ward, | usually send out a weekly newsletter and for the past two | have been remiss on it between
the Holidays, my computer not working and being a little under the weather, it’s been delayed. It will go out
tonight, | promise. Thank you very much.

| just wanted to say the same thing. Ken, your passion is inspirational to me, when | started on the board, |
really appreciate you. Mary Ann, your guidance and wisdom is been invaluable to me and | am going to
miss both of you. | wish everybody on the Board Happy Holidays, have safe ones, thank you.
