MOTION BY ALDERWOMAN MELIZZI-GOLJA FOR FINAL PASSAGE OF O-18-013
ON THE QUESTION
Alderwoman Melizzi-Golja

May | just speak to the amendment? | know that everyone here has read it and we have had discussion
but for the public, the amendment now makes it so that one of the two dwellings in a home that has an
accessory dwelling must always be owner occupied. And this will continue even when the property is
sold. If the new owner desires to have an accessory dwelling, that owner will still have to live in either
the larger or smaller of the two units, so it will always be owner occupied. Thank you.
