Board of Aldermen — 2/28/17 Page 2
President McCarthy
They are hard to miss.
Mayor Donchess
Jay put these in in the last couple of days. The cost of the light is about $10-$15 more than the old light, but
this is a different shade, brighter and has a life of 50,000 hours. | think very few of us will be here still in the
Chamber when one of these burn out. If we use this a couple hours a day that would be 25,000 days from now
that they might burn out.
President McCarthy
Your optimism about the budget season impresses me.
Mayor Donchess
Finally, there is a coffee at jajaBelles tomorrow if anybody wants to attend. This is at 8:00 a.m. at jajaBelles on
Main Street. We usually get 10-25 people there to talk about various city issues, often focused on downtown
because the participants tend to be downtown businesses or residents.
That’s all | have, Mr. President. Thank you.

Alderman Cookson
Are we accepting the transcribed minutes or are we accepting the audio that’s on the city’s website because |
don't see any transcribed minutes for those two meetings?
President McCarthy
For both of them?
Alderman Cookson
That is correct.
President McCarthy
Do we know whether the transcribed ones are there? We'll just accept them next time.
