There being no objection, President McCarthy declared the report of the July 7, 2016
Personnel/Administrative Affairs Committee accepted and placed on file.

MOTION BY ALDERMAN WILSHIRE THAT THE RULES BE SO FAR SUSPENDED AS TO ALLOW
FOR AN ORAL REPORT OF THE HUMAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEETING HELD EARLIER THIS
EVENING

Alderman Wilshire gave an oral report of the Human Affairs Committee meeting held prior to the full
Board of Aldermen meeting.

The Human Affairs Committee met this evening to take up two grants; R-16-043 relative to the
acceptance and appropriation of $63,648 from the Department of Homeland Security into fire grant
activity FY 15 assistance to firefighters and this grant is to replace two sets of extrication rescue
equipment. The committee recommended final passage on that resolution.

The second resolution was R-16-046 relative to the acceptance and appropriation of an additional
$39,862 from the State of New Hampshire Department of Transportation into grant activity transportation
alternatives program TAP grant and to authorize a transfer of matching funds in the amount of
$7,972.40. The committee recommends final passage on this. It was an additional $39,862 for
engineering for the multi-use path and pedestrian bridge to connect the Heritage Rail Trail and Mine
Falls Park recreation area.

There being no objection, President McCarthy declared the oral report of the July 12, 2016, Human
Affairs Committee accepted and placed on file.

Cable Television Advisory Board

MOTION BY ALDERMAN MORIARTY TO CONFIRM BY VOICE VOTE THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS
TO THE CABLE TELEVISION ADVISORY BOARD FOR TERMS TO EXPIRE JANUARY 1, 2019:
ANDREW CERNOTA, 129 SHELLEY DRIVE, NASHUA, AND PAUL F. JOHNSON, 44 BROWNING
AVENUE, NASHUA
MOTION CARRIED

President McCarthy declared Andrew Cernota and Paul F. Johnson duly appointed to the Cable Television
Advisory Board for terms to expire January 1, 2019.

Conservation Commission

MOTION BY ALDERMAN SCHONEMAN TO CONFIRM BY VOICE VOTE THE APPOINTMENT OF
DAN SLOAN, 8 WESTFIELD STREET, NASHUA, TO CONSERVATION COMMISSION FOR A TERM
TO EXPIRE DECEMBER 31, 2017

MOTION CARRIED

President McCarthy declared Dan Sloan duly appointed to the Conservation Commission for a term to expire
December 31, 2017.
