Display countdown on HMI when the timer
has begun for starting or stopping a lead or
lag blower.
Reformat DO controller output to be shown
as SCFM and not percent.
Add displays showing trends of DO, Flow,
and Valve Position for a 2-4 hour time
window. Also include additional trend for
key aeration system metrics such as MOV
position and header pressure.
Consolidate Process Overview screens into
a single display and reformat to groups
zones to their associated basin.
Update logic for logging into HMI. Current
logic logs out user when selecting a non-
secured display after logging in.
Make minor modifications to existing local
blower control panel PLC program.
Currently diffusers are cleaned twice a
week by putting an aeration zone in Service
mode and opening the valve to 100% for
approximately 30 minutes.
Conduct training with plant operators on
new MCP controls.
Informs operators exactly when a
blower is about to be automatically
started or stopped.
Properly configured tuning display
increases operator understanding
of tuning parameters as well as
simplifying the tuning process.
Helps with tuning the DO control
zones by giving a simple visual
feedback of recent performance.
Helps operators determine the
current state of the basin valves
without selecting individual
screens.
Saves time when tuning system.
Allow LCP to communicate
necessary information to new MCP
for updated MCP logic and
graphics.
Automating this process will save
labor time
Ensure operators understand
differences in new MCP logic
compared to existing system.
