are also very excited. That e-mail went to the Mayor and the President of the Chamber of Commerce. It
is very exciting for me to see the community engaged in government at the local level.

Chief Steven Galipeau, Nashua Fire Rescue

| am here to speak in favor of R-16-040, the bond for the Spit Brook Road addition. This project has
been around since 2007 or 2008. It’s received the A-1 approval from Capital Improvements for the last
few years and been supported by the Budget Review Committee. It provides the City of Nashua with an
increase in operational opportunities that we don’t currently have today. It will also provide a safer and
healthier work environment for our firefighters with regard to proper protective clothing storage and
cleaning and equipment repair. The south end of the city has grown immensely and | thank you for your
support.

Master Nikhill Vootkur, 5 Jonquil Lane
The following is an e-mail from R Krishner from Mysore:

A very good morning from R. Krishner from Mysore. | am writing this letter on behalf of the Mysore
Chamber of Commerce and industry and also on behalf of the City of Mysore.

It is indeed a great pleasure and privilege for the City of Mysore to be associated with such a beautiful
place like Nashua for the sister city relationship. We had already had preliminary discussions with the
local authorities including the Mayor of Mysore and are all excited to take this further as early as
possible. Our special thanks go to Mrs. Latha Mangipudi and the Nashua Chamber of Commerce for
their active involvedness in this excellent project. We eagerly look forward to hearing from you on a
positive note. We highly convey warm greetings and our appreciation to all leaders of Nashua for
supporting this noble cause.

Mr. Jag Vootkur, 5 Jonquil Lane

| am just here to support R-16-049, a sister city between Mysore and Nashua. | think it will be very
beneficial to both of the cities.

Mr. Paggan Chandra, 32 Cushing Avenue

| had been in Mysore for almost 20 years and it’s a beautiful city. | hope the sister relationship between
the cities will help both of the cities.

Ms. Sumatka Chadhee, Nashua, NH

| am here to support the sister city initiative between Nashua and Mysore. I’ve been a proud resident of
Nashua for about 26 years. My young family and | moved here 26 years ago because it was named the
best place to live in America twice. | am very excited about this. | think Mysore is a great match for
Nashua; it’s a vibrant city with many beautiful palaces. Nashua has a large Indian community who work
here and raise their families here. They contribute to the economy and are also involved culturally.
There are also charities organized and run by the Indian community. Bangalore and San Francisco have
been sister cities for many years. Boston | think has over ten cities so | think this will be great.

PETITIONS — None
