identification measurements shall be performed.
Force Main Condition Assessment Technical Memorandum
Based on the abovementioned inspection and testing the Consultant shall prepare and submit a Force
Main Condition Assessment Technical Memorandum (TM). The TM shall contain the Reports from
Subcontractor and detail inspection field findings, soils data on corrosivity scoring, and include
annotated digital photographs and a table that presents all UT data by location on the force main. The
TM shall contain conclusions as to the conditions of the pipe and general recommendations.
Electronic versions (PDF and Word format) of the Draft TM shall be submitted to the City for review and
comment. Following the City’s review of the Draft TM, Consultant shall incorporate the City’s comments,
and submit a Final TM.
Deliverables: | Inspection Reports from Subcontractor. Electronic (PDF and editable word) versions of
Draft and Final TM, and five (5) hard copies of Final TM.
TASK B6 — Inspection of Miscellaneous Below Grade Wastewater Structures
Inspection of miscellaneous below grade wastewater structures shall be performed to document their existing
conditions. The Consultant shall identify existing conditions of the structures and provide general
recommendations.

Inspections
The Consultant shall engage the services of a subcontractor to conduct Inspections of miscellaneous
below grade wastewater structures to document their existing conditions. These structures include
eight (8) Siphon Inlet Chambers, eight (8) Siphon Outlet Chambers and the lower level of one (1) Pump
Station (CSO 5 Levee Pump Station). Confined space entry procedures and preparatory cleaning of
structures shall be implemented as needed to conduct inspections. Tasks shall include video inspection
and photographs of the below structures including walls, floor, ceiling, channels, wet wells, and pipe
connections. Measurements shall be taken of all pipe penetrations off the floor. Photographs of all
gates, valves and other mechanical components shall be taken.
Technical Memorandum
Based on the abovementioned inspection and testing the Consultant shall prepare and submit a
Technical Memorandum (TM). The TM shall inspection findings and include annotated digital
photographs and general recommendations on the condition of the structures.
Electronic versions (PDF and Word format) of the Draft TM shall be submitted to the City for review and
comment. Following the City’s review of the Draft TM, Consultant shall incorporate the City’s comments,
and submit a Final TM.
