To Whom It May Concern:
The Taunton Public Schools recently installed eight new tennis courts on our high school
campus. As with many municipalities throughout the Commonwealth, a project of this scope
does not come without its critics. However, that was not case for us thanks to our close working
relationship with NESRA Engineering.
Working with NESRA Engineering and Arsen Hambardzumian, the Taunton Public Schools was
able to keep the general public well informed from of the project from start to finish. Arsen and
his staff were very hands-on, especially when it came to addressing the general concerns of the
neighbors residing near the campus. NESRA presented before our school committee and also
participated in several public outreach meetings. This level of attention to detail helped to garner
community support.
Arsen and his staff were on site daily to look after our best interests. This type of oversight
helped to make certain that the project was completed to our specifications and that no corners
were cut. However, due to an unforeseen land condition, a change order was submitted to
address a draining issue. Arsen and his team presented our administration with several solutions
to remedy the issue. For each solution, NESRA shared the pros and cons. This was very helpful
in helping to facilitate a well informed decision. Overall, the project did come in over budget due
to the change order, however, NESRA’s fee was within budget.
What I have found to separate NESRA Engineering from others that I have worked with is their
superior service and their ability to meet the needs of our community. Their willingness to work
hand-in-hand with our administration cannot be overstated. Please do not hesitate to contact me
