Athletic Field Renovations

Terracon has completed subsurface investigations and provided design criteria for athletic field renovations throughout
New England. Services we have provided include subsurface characterization and in-situ infiltration testing for design
of athletic field facilities. Site conditions encountered vary from deep clay deposits, to urban fill, to shallow till and bed-
rock. Design recommendations have included shallow spread footings, drilled piers, in-situ infiltration rates for design
of synthetic turf drainage, and field under drains.
