NO Ward 5 meeting to inform the residents (taxpayers) of the planned Skateboard Park to be located next to
Stellos Stadium in the Cul-de-sac. Under State Law only the direct abutters are notified and that would be
YMCA and Stellos Stadium (owned by the City
of Nashua. The infrastructure Committee and the Board of Public Works have voted to approve this
skateboard park. It is now waiting to be voted on by the full Board of Alderman on 8/9/16.

ramp) and biking.
4) Crime?
5) Home Values/more noise.
6) Pedestrian Safety, vehicles and skateboarders colliding.
7) Any traffic studies done as to the safety of the skateboarders?
8) Further expense Re: maintenance
9) Increase in Signage for traffic flow and for warning for skateboarders
10)West Hollis Street is very congested by 505 West Hollis St and ongoing changes in traffic patterns.
11) THE MAYOR, INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE, BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS LISA FAUTEUX ARE ALL IN FAVOR OF THE PROJECT WITH THE HELP OF THE
DAVID DEANE SKATEBOARD PARK COMMITTEE.
