Please see attached communications from Camille Pattison, Transportation Administrator dated August 28, 2020 for
project specific details related to this purchase. Below please find a summary of the purchase approval request:

Item: Low Floor Cutaway Van to replace a Nashua Transit van that was totaled 4/30/20
Value: $123,521

Vendor: New England Wheels

Department: 181 Community Development

Source Fund: FY21 CERF $63,865 reimbursed to General Fund from Risk Management $63,865
supplemental appropriation submitted to BOA resolution R-20-061

Ordinance: Pursuant to § 5-84 Special purchase procedures A. (7) Purchases under extensions of
contracts when no price increase exceeds 10% per year.

The Transportation Administrator, the Director of Community Development and the Purchasing Department
respectfully request your approval of this contract.
