SUBJECT: CONSENT DECREE — 2019 UPDATED LONG TERM CONTROL PLAN (VALUE: NOT-
TO EXCEED $487,760)
DEPARTMENT: 169 WASTEWATER; FUND: WASTEWATER
Please see the attached communication from Stephen Dookran, P.E., City Engineer, dated August 22,
2019 for information related to this contract.
Pursuant to NRO § 5-83 Professional Services (A) in the purchase of accounting, architectural, auditing,
engineering, legal, medical and ambulance services and purchases of independent professional
consultant services for personnel, data processing, actuarial, planning, management and other
comparable purchases competitive bidding shall not be required.
The City Engineer, Board of Public Works (August 22, 2019 BPW meeting) and the Purchasing
Department recommend the award of this contract in an amount not to exceed $487,760 to Hazen of
Manchester, NH.
