Monica Drive Drainage Improvements
To approve a contract for Monica Drive Drainage Improvement Project with RWC
Enterprise for the amount not to exceed $129,900. Funding will be through
Department: 169 Wastewater, Fund: Wastewater; Activity: Stormwater Abatement.
The purpose of this project is to resolve a drainage issue on Monica Drive near Vickies
Drive by installing 325 LF of 12” PVC storm drain pipe, 340 LF of 8” perforated
underdrain pipe, two catch basins and reclaim the existing pavement between 10
Monica Drive to 6 Monica Drive. The new storm drain system along this section of the
street will help to rectify the extensive pavement deterioration caused by runoff and
allow stormwater to flow onto a drainage system.
The project was advertised on July 16, 2019. A non-mandatory prebid meeting was held
on July 23, 2019 and one bidder attended. Three contractors submitted qualified bids
on August 8, 2019. The bids are as follows:

The bids were reviewed and RWC Enterprises of Nashua, NH is the recommended
qualified, low bidder. This request is to approve the award of the Monica Drive
Drainage Improvement Project contract to RWC Enterprises in the amount of $129,900.
